Personally I'd wait a week or so (heck someone's going to try simming Franchise the first day) just to see if this has been fixed.if you play franchise. I don't jump on the bandwagon of boycott but I would advise caution before shelling out 60 dollars on release day. I've never played 30 seasons but I certainly play more than 2 and I can only hope that they don't make this mistake again. Due to that the teams couldn't fill their rosters, therefore the game would not allow you to continue playing because a team had empty positions.) That situation must not happen again, the game promised up to 30 seasons and it rarely delivered past 3 until the NFL season was almost over. (For those of you that don't know, the main mode of Madden became unplayable after the Free Agent pool ran out of players at certain positions. More importantly than how the game plays is does it work? Last year, Franchise mode took until Week 14 (December) of last season to work like it should have in August. I know there will be in the final game but I'd of liked to have seen if it's new commentary to go with the new graphics or if its the same old boring 'radio broadcast' guy that makes the game about as exciting as virtually playing croquet. As far as the gameplay goes, there was no commentary on '09's video. However some things that I imagine many people care about were not displayed.
